In collaboration with local organizations, Peace Corps Volunteers have planned a unique experience to celebrate 20 years of volunteering in Moldova. Two groups of volunteers have been walking through Moldova- one team started in Soroca, the other in Taraclia. They are visiting different towns and villages along two 150 km routes to promote volunteerism and community activism.

On Sunday, June 30th both teams of volunteers will complete their routes and meet in Chisinau for a large, public celebration.

The final Turul Moldovei event will take place in Chisinau at Parcul La Izvor from 14:00-17:00.

There will be an NGO fair with organizations recruiting volunteers, promoting their work, and showcasing resources available in Chisinau. There will also be a live concert with both Moldovan and American performers, Salsa Dancing, Interactive Live Art Projects, opportunities for prizes, and fun games and activities for all!
