С 18 по 22 мая 2016 года в Приднестровье впервые пройдёт фестиваль документального кино о правах человека «Чеснок». Это путешествующий фестиваль, программа которого будет представлена в пяти городах: Тирасполь, Бендеры, Дубоссары, Рыбница и соседняя столица — Кишинёв.

16:00 — «Красный Белый Зелёный» / Red White Green (9 min)
16:10 — «Рабы» / Slaves (15 min)
16:30 — «Королева молчания» / Queen of Silence (80 min)
18:00 — «Козёл за голос» / A Goat for a Vote (51 min)
19:00 — «Это моя земля» / This is My Land (93 min), по окончании показа состоится дискуссия с экспертом.
21:30 — Закрытие фестиваля
В цели фестиваля входит ознакомление широкой зрительской аудитории с актуальными фильмами о правах человека, а также создание дискуссионной площадки для обсуждения проблем современности в данной области.
Программа «Чеснока» объединила 8 документальных работ — 5 полнометражных и 3 короткометражных — от известных зарубежных режиссёров из Швеции, Франции, Нидерландов, Польши и Израиля. Фильмы являются участниками и победителями крупнейших международных кинофестивалей последних нескольких лет: IDFA, One World, Berlinale, Art DocFest, DocuDays, HotDocs и др.
На площадках фестиваля пройдут встречи и дискуссии с приглашёнными гостями и экспертами из разных областей, связанных с тематикой фильмов.
Следует отметить, что «Чеснок» является некоммерческим проектом, и вход на все просмотры свободный.
Фестиваль организован Информационно-правовым центром «Априори» и поддержан международной платформой документального кино о правах человека Movies that Matter Foundation.
“Chesnok” Human Rights Documentary Film Festival
The first Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Transnistria “Chesnok” will take place from 18 to 22 May 2016. This is a travelling festival, which will be held in five cities: Tiraspol, Bender, Dubasari, Ribnita and Chisinau.

The objectives of the festival are the familiarization of the audience with the current films on human rights, as well as the creation of a discussion platform on current human rights issues.
The “Chesnok” united 8 documentary works — 5 feature-lenght films and 3 short movies — of famous foreign directors from Sweden, France, the Netherlands, Poland and Israel. The works have been nominated at major international film festivals last few years such as: IDFA, One World, Berlinale, Art DocFest, DocuDays, HotDocs, etc.
As a part of the festival there will be discussions organized with the participation of various guests and experts from different fields related to the movie topics.
It should be pointed that “Chesnok” is a non-profit project, and the entrance is free of charge to all visitors.
The festival is organised by Informational and Legal Center “A priori” and supported by an international platform Movies that Matter Foundation.
