Cum reflectă ilustrațiile realitățile politice?
Care este potențialul desenului în comparație cu textul și fotografia?
Cu strategii narative precum cartografierea și storyboarding vom reflecta reprezentarea puterii în spațiul public, zonele de conflict social și a stării politice din Chișinău. În excursiile de pe teritoriu vom discuta codurile și metodele vizuale locale de cercetare, desen și interpretare. Vă rugăm să aduceți materiale personale precum pixuri și hîrtie.
Thomas Rustemeyer (*1984) este un artist și architect stabilit în Karlsruhe, Germania. În activitatea sa el se focusează pe întrebările sociale și politice ale orașelor, a spațiului public și a orașelor viitorului. El realizează desene, expoziții și publicații într-un format experimental. El predă scenografia și designul expozițiilor la Academia de Arte și Design din Karlsruhe (HfG) www.studiorustemeyer.com
Workshopul se va desfășura în engleză. Vă rugăm să completați formularul de aplicare până pe data de 17 iulie.

How can drawings reflect political realities? What is the potential of drawings in comparison to texts and photographs? With narrative strategies like mappings, cartographies and storyboards we will reflect representations of power in public space, social conflict zones and political conditions in Chisinau. In field trips we will discuss local codes and visual methods of research, drawing and interpretation. Please bring pen and paper!
Thomas Rustemeyer (*1984) is an artist and architect based in Karlsruhe, Germany. In his work he focusses on social and political questions in our cities, the city of the future and the public space.
