Cine suntem? Cum trăim, în ce condiții? Ce ne inspiră și care ne sunt nevoile? Care acțiuni își vor păstra valoarea timp de o jumătate de secol? Prin ce se va deosebi omul din anul 2070 de omul din prezent? Putem aduna fragmente într-o istorie colectivă, care ar descrie perioada prin care trecem?

Invităm tinerii artiști și persoanele pasionate de artă să se alăture unui laborator de creație, unde, pe parcursul celor 5 săptămâni, să analizăm subiectul „periferiei” într-un context urban, cercetându-l și reprezentându-l cu ajutorul unor mijloace artistice, cu scopul identificării și extinderii limitelor de percepție asupra orașului ca loc de locuit.

În fiecare zi de luni participanții vor primi câte un mesaj cu sarcini, care vor trebui finalizate timp de o săptămână (fiecare participant este liber să decidă asupra timpului alocat activităților planificate). Lucrările create, informațiile și obiectele colectate pe parcursul unei săptămâni, ca urmare a sarcinilor realizate, vor forma conținutul unei „Capsule de Timp”.

Sesiunile de lucru în atelier vor fi de natură practică, iar discuțiile online vor avea drept scop cunoașterea participanților și crearea unui context în care aceștia să-și dezvolte propriile lor idei.

Taxa de participare
Participarea la atelier este gratuită, pentru că credem că accesul la educație trebuie asigurat tuturor doritorilor, indiferent de statutul lor economic sau social. Participanții ar trebui să-și acopere singuri costurile aferente călătoriei internaționale, cazării la Chișinău și alte costuri legate de participarea lor.

Who are we? How do we live, in what conditions? What are our needs and inspirations? Which actions will preserve their value for at least half a century? What will be the differences between us and a person living in 2070? Can we collect fragments into a common history that would describe the times we are going through?

We invite emerging artists and young people that are passionate about art to join an art laboratory, where during 5 weekends we will be analyzing the topic of “periphery” in an urban context, researching it and representing it in a creative way, in order to define and extend the limits of the perception of the city as a living place.

Every Monday the participants will receive a message with tasks that need to be fulfilled during the week (every participant is free to decide about the time s/he needs to fulfill the tasks). In the end, the artworks that will be created and the information or objects that will be collected during the workshop will contribute to the content of a “Time Capsule”.

The offline sessions will involve physical work and will be taking place in the studio, while the online sessions will aim to get the participants acquainted with the topic and provide a context, in which they could develop their own ideas.

Participation fee
Participation in the workshop is free, because we believe that access to education must be provided to all who wish, regardless of their economic or social status. Participants should cover for themselves the costs of international travel and medical insurance, accommodation in Chisinau and other costs related to their participation.
