Let’s dance for peace!

This year will celebrate exactly 50 years since Contact Improvisation was born, and we are going to organize our Moldavian Festival.

We invite you to the SPACE of creative and soulful meetings, the FIELD of poetry, ATTENTION to the sincere quality of DANCE, the flight of movement, COMMUNICATION and CO-CREATION, filled with Moldovan warmth and hospitality. We really want the Festival to become the place where each participant feels Connection, Acceptance, Sincerity and Openness.

Let’s remind to each other that life is intelligent. That there is always a place in life to be with friends, to listen to each other, rejoice and move together. That we can be inspired, create and celebrate from the heart. That one can peaceful and create peace around with each new step, response, movement, dancing eternity!

The main focus of the festival is on practicing Contact Improvisation and performance, as well as opens the space for co-creation and interactions between people, dance and other arts (music, theater, video, photography, fine arts, visual arts, etc.). It fits to advance level dancers, as well as beginners and those who are interested to try something new. Each and everyone will feel involved, seen and inspired at our festival.

15.09 – Arrival at the Dance Camp

16.09 – 21.09 – Dance CAMP outside the city (intensives, labs, classes, jams, concerts, etc.)

22.09 – 23.09 – Urban dance dates (jams, performances, dancing dates in the city)

Food and accommodation:

The main part of the festival (Camp) will take place outside of Chisinau, food and accommodation are included in the price, so you don’t have to do anything.

Pre-festival and post-festival will be held in the center of Chisinau, food and accommodation are NOT included in the price and you will have to take care of it yourself.
You should look either for a hotel, or an apartment (shared with other participants), or a hostel. We can recommend one of the hostels we worked with at one of the previous festivals (Whatsapp Rubens: +37360639551).
There should be no problems with food in the center of Chisinau: there are enough restaurants, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets for any taste and wallet size.

There is a lot of space at Moldova festival for dancing and delicious time together. Plus warm golden autumn, harvest of vegetables and fruits, watermelons and Moldovan hospitality!
