Introduction to Live Video Art Performance
The workshop will attempt to give an overview of the diverse variants of live video art performance: Club VJ’ing, Live Cinema, Audiovisual Performance, Architecture Mapping, and Video Installations. There will be an introduction to video technology and commonly used live video software for Mac and Windows PC, as well as hardware that can be interesting to use. Attendees should have basic computer knowledge and ideally bring their own portable Mac or PC and a rough idea of what they would like to do. No special skills are required. Trial installers for all covered software will be provided.
