Câmpurile Moldovei au prins culoare, fiind umplute de maci înfloriți.
Perioada de înflorire a macilor de câmp este luna mai, astfel moldovenii nu au întârziat să se bucure de posibilitatea de a face o poză în acest peisaj.
Macul de câmp (Papaver rhoeas) este o plantă cu flori din familia Papaveraceae. Este identic cu macul opiaceu. Semințele sunt utilizate în industria alimentară. În literatura persană macul roșu este considerat floarea iubirii.

Roman a explicat că pentru a găsi câmpul cu maci trebuie de mers în direcția aeroportului și până a ajunge la el, de cotit spre Băcioi, iar pe partea stângă veți vedea covorul de flori.
