CINEMA ÎN AER LIBER: Temporar al 8-lea

Punctul central al documentarului este Cartierul 8 din Budapesta, un cartier popular unde o restructurare majoră a început în 2006 odată cu mutarea locuitorilor, demolările și construcțiile, dar, care, brusc s-au oprit în 2008 odată cu criza economică globală. Clădirile distruse sînt acum spații goale fără nici o destinație definită, un mozaic de facturi într-o fabrică urbană.

Ce se poate face cu aceste spații publice și private neutilizate?

Filmul se aventurează în loturile de deșert, în interiorul curților și caselor, pentru a afla cum locuitorii transformă spațiile comune și fața propriului lor oraș.

In the focus of the documentary is the Eighth District of Budapest, a popular neighborhood where a major restructuring started in 2006 with displacements of inhabitants, demolitions and constructions but suddenly stopped in 2008 with the global economic crisis. The destroyed buildings are now empty spaces with no defined destination, a mosaic of fractures in the urban fabric.

What to do with these public and private spaces of non-use?

The film ventures into the desert lots, yards and homes to find out how the inhabitants transform the common areas and the face of their own city.
